1 – Videri Chocolate Factory
Located in downtown Raleigh, Videri Chocolate Factory is an artisan chocolatier that makes amazing in-house chocolates.
I love their walk-up window where you can order soft-serve ice cream with your choice of toppings.
I opted for vanilla ice cream drizzled with hot fudge and topped with their excellent peppermint bar crumbled on top.
Also, try their Affogato – an amazing dessert made with espresso and ice cream.

Also located in downtown Raleigh, Escazu Chocolates are a work of art, and you’ll love the unique flavors like Passion Fruit Ganache or Lychee Lemon.
Be sure to enjoy a hot beverage when you’re there. Tasty flavors include Fireball Latte and Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate.
Their historic hot chocolates feature recipes from around the world dating back to the 1600s.
One flavor, called the Spain 1631, is based on the first published chocolate recipe and includes star anise, cinnamon, almonds, hazelnuts, cornmeal, and chilies.

It’s worth the drive to Cary to taste the sweet delicacies sold at Chocolate Smiles.

Whitney only gets 5-star reviews on Google for her vast array of tasty chocolate creations.
People especially rave about her giant chocolate-covered strawberries.
