To get your hands on one of their famous pies that come in over 20 flavors like Chocolate Meringue Pie, or Chocolate Pecan, you’ll have to stop at The Butcher’s Market for a whole or half pie.
There are also restaurants in the Raleigh area that serve single slices like the Breakaway Cafe, Simple Twist, and the Village Deli & Grill.

One of my favorite things about the Slice Pie Company is that they will decorate the top any way you would like. For instance, you can add “Happy Birthday” on top or have it decorated for a wedding.

The sandwiches are large and delicious, and they have phenomenal desserts, including lemon bars, bread pudding, and slices of pie.

The Angus Barn is an upscale steakhouse in a huge, barnlike setting.
It’s a Raleigh icon that serves fresh seafood, locally grown vegetables, aged steaks, and amazing desserts.
It’s on the pricey side, but many people enjoy going here for a special occasion. Luckily, my husband’s work has hosted two Christmas parties here because otherwise, it probably wouldn’t be in our budget.
They have several flavors of scrumptious pies on their menu, including their award-winning Chocolate Chess Pie. Seriously, people, this pie is a North Carolina treasure!

16 – Whiskey Kitchen
Whiskey Kitchen is a hip restaurant in downtown Raleigh featuring Southern fare, whiskey & craft cocktails.
The food and cocktails are fantastic, but Whiskey Kitchen is also known for its Shoo Fly Pie.
You can purchase a slice while you are there or order a whole pie to pick up. Just give them a day or two to get your order ready.

I used to love eating pie…all kinds of pie. These look amazing. I’m vegan and gluten free now…so sadly, no pie for me. It’s very rare to find one that I can enjoy.
I think some of these shops have gluten-free options. I haven’t tried one though to know how it tastes.
